NouvEON was engaged by a leading national utility to achieve compliance with new Nuclear Regulatory Commission rules regarding employee work hours. NouvEON worked with Duke Energy following the Cinergy acquisition. Three projects were implemented as part of the merger. The third project implemented a standard process and the software TagsPro for the lock-out/tag-out of equipment at regulated and non-regulated stations.
NouvEON demonstrated its project management skills by reestablishing credibility and confidence in the client’s IT resources.
NouvEON successfully answered the call when Duke encountered FERC’s Order 890: Mandated Rapid Deployment of Complex Transmission Billing Algorithms.  The partnering avoided extreme fines and potential imprisonment for Non-Compliance.
