NouvEON Employee Named Standout Charlottean of the Year for Outstanding Success and Service

July 8- NouvEON’s business development manager, Melissa Hess, was honored as the Standout Charlottean of the Year.

NouvEON’s business development manager, Melissa Hess, was honored as the Standout Charlottean of the Year award at the inaugural Standout Charlotte event, held June 19 at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. Hess and nine other honorees received Standout Charlottean awards at the event, presented by the Charlotte chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). The awards recognize exceptional individuals for their achievements in business, leadership within the community, and their fundraising efforts for the CFF.

Of the ten honorees, Hess was selected as the Standout Charlottean of the Year for her outstanding contributions to business and the Charlotte community. Hess has significantly contributed to NouvEON’s success as one of the fastest growing private companies in North America. As business development manager, she helped the firm maintain its strong record of growth by securing new clients and generating increased revenue.

“Melissa embodies the very notion of giving,” said Theresa Ulyatt, NouvEON’s Vice President of Strategy and Talent. “She gives herself to the world everyday and her efforts to raise awareness for the CFF made all of us at NouvEON very proud.”

Hess works tirelessly to assist numerous Charlotte-area charities including Crisis Assistance Ministry, You Belong and Habitat for Humanity. She was also recognized as the top fundraiser for the Charlotte chapter’s Standout Charlotte event, raising more than $4,400 for CFF.

Hess’contributions to the community are one of many examples of service NouvEON employees perform to support the greater Charlotte community
